To show you my project experience I will run through two projects below and outline my specific involvement.
Project 2 - Offshore Oil Fields Asset ( Shell / Brunei)
The scope of work was to fully survey and model all above sea level mechanical / electrical / instrumentation and infrastructure assests of all the offshore platforms of the AMPA 9 and Fairley 1 & 2 oilfield complexes. The resultant models were to be used for revamp / retrofit / expansion / de-bottlenecking projects and eventually the data would be committed to plant assest data management and operating envelope systems.

My involvement client facing:
- Scope of work visit. Departed by boat from KB jetty and visited offshore platforms for estimate, plan and safety assessment over a 3 day period. That me asleep on the way back from last visit.
- Preparation of project plan, cost and schedule.
- Presentation and negotiation of project plan, cost and schedule and presentation to clients managing contractor (DamitWorley)
- Presentation of safety case to support project acceptance by client.
- Established setting out survey criteria to streamline survey schedule during estimate visit.
- Team leader for model build and conversion to PDMS. This required support from our software team to customise our PDMS traslator to suit the clients requirements.
- QA / QC for all site activities.
- QA / QC for all model build.
- Client negotiations over model deliverable and final deliverable check.
Project statistics:
- Over 5000 images delivered in Visual Database.
- Over 10 full platforms surveyed and modelled.
- Over 70000 m³ of plant modelled in 3D.
- Site team 6 engineers + client support (fire watch for permit).
- Modelling team 8 engineers.
- Project delivered on time and on budget.
Project 1 - B30 Decommissioning (Nukem / BNFL)
In order for B30 to be fully decommissioned then many of the old systems needed to be brought up to date. Nukem / BNFL commissioned Offset Services to build an accurate 3D PDMS design model so that retro engineering studies could be undertaken. The project was a resounding success for all parties involved in the endeavour.

- Team leader for setting out survey (getting the project started on site).
- Company representative for progress meetings.
- Team leader for model build and conversion to PDMS.
- QA / QC for all site activities.
- QA / QC for all model build.
- Presentation of model to client to facilitate client acceptance and payment.

- Over 42000 m³ of plant modelled in 3D.
- Site team 4 engineers + client support.
- Modelling team 6 engineers.
- Project delivered on time and on budget.
